Three-dimensional inversion symmetry, also known as inversic symmetry and notated as ±(I×I×I), is a 3D spherical symmetry group. It is the symmetry group of the parallelepiped and corresponds to central inversion symmetry with no additional symmetries. It is a subgroup of octahedral and icosahedral symmetry, but not tetrahedral symmetry.
