The diminished demipenteract is a CRF segmentoteron. It consists of 1 pentachoron, 1 rectified pentachoron, 5 hexadecachora, 5 octahedral pyramids, and 10 further pentachora.

It can be viewed as a segmentoteron between pen and inverted rap or between octpy and gyro hex.

It is the result of diminishing a rectified pentachoric pyramid off a demipenteract.

A non-equilateral variant of this polyteron appears as the vertex figure of the small cellidemihexeract.
