A funk tegum, also known as an n-gonal funk tegum, is an isogonal polychoron with 3n-2 vertices. More specifically, they are a subset of the step prisms, and are equal to the (3n-2)-n step prism. The dual of a funk tegum is a funk prism. As n approaches infinity, they start to resemble the 2,3-coiloid.
Examples[edit | edit source]
1. 7-2 step prism (triangular funk tegum)
2. Pentagonal duotegum (square funk tegum)
3. 13-5 step prism (pentagonal funk tegum)
4. 16-6 step prism (hexagonal funk tegum)
5. 19-7 step prism (heptagonal funk tegum)
