Two-dimensional identity symmetry, also known as monic symmetry and notated as I×I, is a 2D spherical symmetry group. It is the symmetry group of the scalene triangle and is equivalent to the identity group which has no symmetry. It is the symmetry group of any irregular polygon and occurs as a subgroup of all polygonal symmetries.
