The n-dimensional orthoplecial pyramid is a Blind polytope formed by taking the pyramid of a the (n - 1)-orthoplex, or the convex hull of said orthoplex with an additional point. This family of polytopes generalizes the square pyramid, a Johnson solid. The four-dimensional orthoplecial pyramid is the octahedral pyramid, and the five-dimensional one is the hexadecachoric pyramid.
In five dimensions and above, the orthoplecial pyramids and the simplicial bipyramids are the only non-uniform Blind polytopes.
