Rectangular symmetry, also known as rectic symmetry or digonal symmetry and notated K2, is a 2D spherical Coxeter group. It is the symmetry group of the rectangle, with two rotations and two reflections. Any even-sided polygon has this as a subsymmetry.
Subgroups[edit | edit source]
- Inversion symmetry (normal, maximal)
- Reflection symmetry (normal, maximal)
- Identity symmetry (normal)
