The square tegum or squit, also called a square bipyramid, is a tegum with a square as the equatorial section. Generally, a square tegum has 8 identical isosceles triangles as faces. The version with equilateral triangles is the regular octahedron, while other variations can be constructed as duals of non-uniform square prisms.
