A superegg is a solid of revolution produced by taking a filled-in superellipse with exponent greater than two and rotating it about its major axis. As its Gaussian curvature is zero at the tips, if made of a homogeneous material it can stand on a flat surface, making it a popular desk toy as popularized by Piet Hein. Hein used an exponent of 2.5 and set the superellipse's aspect ratio to 4:3.
