The triangular frustum or trif, also known as a triangular podium, is a variant of the triangular prism where the bases are different sized equilateral triangles. It generally has two different sized triangles and 3 isosceles trapezoids as faces.
In vertex figures[edit | edit source]
4 nonconvex uniform polychora have triangular frustums for vertex figures, including the great tesseractitesseractihexadecachoron, great ditrigonal hecatonicosihexacosihecatonicosachoron, great hexacosihecatonicosihecatonicosachoron, and small hecatonicosihecatonicosihexacosichoron.
